PAEDIATRIC ICU

A well-equipped ICU with 5 beds with a separate ventilator for each bed.

It is considered as the first Pediatric ICU in Sudan. it treats Pediatric cases with:

  1. Severe Sepsis.
  2. Stats Epilepticus.
  3. Life threatening Asthma.
  4. Metabolic Crisise.

INTENSIVE CARE DEPARTMENT (ICU)

Fedail hospital ICU team are well trained nurses & doctors who provide best medical care for critical ill patients.  Four Intensivist consultants covering the ICU 24/7.

The ICU features:

  1. 10 separate rooms (Cubic system) for patients.
  2. 3 Isolation rooms (cubic system) with negative & positive pressure system.
  3. One-to-one nurse-patient ratio.
  4. Each bed has monitor, ventilator, syringe and infusion pumps.
  5. Portable x-ray.
  6. Ultrasound & ECHO machine.
  7. Hemodialysis machine.
  8. Prisma Flex machine (CRRT).
  9. Plasma Exchange machine.
